there is no cost to attend this training. Participants are responsible for associated travel and lodging expenses.
This training is only open to currently sworn law enforcement officers.

A VALOR training certificate will be available at the conclusion of the event.

No. This training is funded by BJA and is free to any sworn law enforcement officer. However, travel, lodging, and per diem costs are the responsibility of the attendee or the attendee’s agency.
Is in-service training credit available?
Yes. Depending on the location of the training and the state’s law enforcement training authority, state law enforcement credit may be available.
What is the dress code for this training?
This training is strictly classroom-based. Appropriate dress is business casual or uniform, if required by your agency.
Are federal law enforcement officers allowed in this training?
While this training is primarily for state, local, and tribal officers, federal law enforcement officers may be admitted on a space-available basis.
